We operate an appointment system Monday to Friday for the doctors and nurses in We offer ‘Same Day Access’ clinic with our Nurse or paramedic team for patients requesting a same day appointment. The nurse or paramedic will assess and treat the patient under the support of the Duty Doctor as necessary.

Between 8am and 9am there are no options on the phone system this allows the phones to be answered more quickly and efficiently at the most busy time of the day

When ringing after 9am there are three options to choice from

Option 1 - is for all Nurse, HCA and Phlebotomist appointments.

Option 2 - All prescription queries - this line is open 9am to 12pm each day

Option 3 - is for all GP appointments, on the day appointments (including with the triage) and any other enquires you may have regarding referrals etc

Each GP appointment is of a 10 minute duration which is sufficient time to deal with one problem.  If you have more than one problem, you may be asked by the GP to make a further appointment.  Nurse and Health Care Assistant appointments vary in length and the receptionist will advise how long you need.

Appointments can be made by telephone from 8.00am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We also offer some appointments to be booked using our On-Line service over the internet – please ask reception how to register for this service.

We also provide Extended Access with a Doctor, Health Care Assistant or Practice Nurse from 7.30am to 8.00am Monday to Friday. These are ideally for commuters and routine, non-urgent appointments for those patients unable to attend during normal hours due to their work commitments.

Reminder – we use a text reminder system to remind our patients of their appointments and also to send you information from time to time so please ensure we have up to date contact information for you at all times – if we do not have your mobile telephone number then please let us have it and if you change your address or contact details we need to know.

A trained chaperone will be available if the situation or doctor requests it.

Please tell the receptionist if you would like a chaperone to be present during your appointment

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
